1. Data controller
FLIPBOOKPRO Studio is a product of Globosoft Srl. Globosoft Srl acts as the data controller for personal data processed through this website where applicable.
2. Local PDF processing
FLIPBOOKPRO Studio is designed so that PDF parsing, page rendering and most editing operations can take place directly in your web browser.
The browser-based Studio uses client-side technologies such as JavaScript, PDF.js, Canvas, Blob URLs and browser storage to perform these operations on your device.
3. Information that may be processed
Depending on how you use the website, the following information may be processed:
- standard technical information sent by your browser to the hosting server, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date/time and basic server log information;
- preferences and application settings stored locally in your browser, for example interface settings or project-related preferences;
- license or account-related information if a licensing or account service is used;
- information you voluntarily send to Globosoft Srl when requesting support or contacting us.
4. Browser storage
FLIPBOOKPRO Studio may use browser technologies such as localStorage or similar local storage mechanisms to remember application settings and preferences. This information remains in your browser unless you clear the relevant browser data.
5. Exported projects and files
When you export an HTML flipbook, ZIP package or project file, the export is generated on your device by the browser. You decide where the resulting file is saved and whether it is later uploaded to a website, hosting service or other third-party platform.
6. Embedded third-party content
Flipbooks may contain external content such as YouTube or other embedded media. When such content is loaded, the relevant third-party provider may receive technical information from your browser and may apply its own privacy and cookie policies.
7. Cookies and analytics
The core FLIPBOOKPRO Studio editor does not require the upload of PDFs to the server in order to function. If analytics, advertising, payment, licensing or other third-party services are introduced or used on the website, those services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own terms and applicable law.
8. Legal bases
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, personal data may be processed on the basis of legitimate interests, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or consent, depending on the specific processing activity.
9. Data retention
Server logs and support or licensing records, where applicable, are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, technical, contractual or legal purposes. Files processed locally in the Studio remain under your control on your device unless you choose to upload or share them elsewhere.
10. Your rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website and services. However, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated as FLIPBOOKPRO Studio evolves or as legal and technical requirements change. The date shown at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
13. Contact
For privacy-related requests, please contact Globosoft Srl using the contact information made available through the FLIPBOOKPRO or Globosoft websites.
